Westover Retail
In order to build pads for a 37-acre shopping center in west Fort Worth, Texas, this project consisted of hauling out approximately 300,000 cubic yards of material, clearing the site of grubbing and trees, and hauling in approximately 200,000 cubic yards of fill material. Fills were as deep as 32 feet from grade.
A 600-yard Texas limestone retaining wall, 15-30 feet high, was constructed by Wells. The site was compacted to 95% density to bring the location back to grade.
